PRIME MINISTER AND I FANFICTION

SECOND BEGINNING
Lovely day, with bright last autumn sun shone over their heads, was witnessing their reunion after a whole year separation.
“Can we start now?”, Nam Da Jung held his strong warm hand tightly with teasing smiles decorating her lips. Slowly Kwon Yul felt his ice was broken and couldnot help returning her smile happily. He even grinned wider affected by the girl’s cheerful radiance.
“ Nam da Jung-ssi, it is very nice to see you again, “ he spoke quite formally, still he was not able to hide his joy to see her again.  He tightened his grips on Da Jung’s small fingers. When he looked up to the afternoon sky, he thought he could see a rainbow across the horizon above.
After that quick nostalgic moment, Nam Da Jung sat on one of the chairs and looked around the garden breathing clear air left by crisp autumn wind.
“ It is comfortable here, and I wonder why you choose this place to receive interviews?.” Then she turn around and saw that Kwon Yul was still looking at her smiling. She imagined stars twinkling in his grey beautiful eyes.
“That is because I think this place is very suitable to be interviewed by someone so special. And I will not feel confined here,” Kwon Yul replied playfully. Nam Da Jung laughed and to Kwon Yul it sounded like something out of his happiest dreams.
“Aah.. Jongri nim,... Sorry, I haven’t been out of the habit of thinking of you as one... or should I call you Mr. Kwon Yul? You can talk a little bit nicer now. Much different from my experience couple of years ago.”
“People are changing, Nam Da Jung-ssi, and so am I. I am grateful that I am changing into a better person. Thanks to you and your clumsiness,”
“Mr. Kwon Yul, that’s what you call grateful? I can change too, you know! If you still think that I am that clumsy.. well I had better leave now.”
“ Nam Da Jung ssi, you become too serious. Well, you were clumsy and I thank you for that... Come on... sit down again..., or have you become a coward?”, Kwon Yul pulled Nam Da Jung’s hand and made her sit again.
“Me? A coward? Only in your dream, Jong ri nim,” Da Jung spouted her lips but when she noticed that Kwon Yul chuckled loudly, she grinned too and felt like a dejavu back at the time when they bickered endlessly.
“So, since you are here to interview me, let us see what questions you prepare for me. I hope I will not get zero score this time,” Kwon Yul folded his hands  on the table staring at Da Jung who was busy taking out her notes.
“Okay, the first question, what is your first son favourite activity and the second, why are you staring at me?.”
“ Woo ri loves to sing and play music. His band is starting to perform in many local events. He is quite celebrity now with several girls often stop to take pictures with him. For the second question, that is because I am  curious to hear your unusually strange questions.”
Nam Da Jung felt her cheeks were smoking. She believed the man in front of her can perceive her embarassment yet unhidden delight.
Kwon Yul just smiled and continued his words, “ I am glad to have listened to somebody’s advice about his talent.”
“Hmmm... I am also glad to hear that, Mr. Kwon Yul. Okay, next question. Who is your daughter’s idol?”
“She still loves Roori, but I think she’s getting crazier about EXO boys,” Kwon Yul let out an amused laugh.
“She is growing up to be a very pretty and smart young lady, Sir,” Da Jung spoke without looking up from her notes. Nevertheless, Kwon Yul noticed that she is smiling brightly.
“And what about Kwon Man Se? Does he still love bread so much?,” Da Jung tried to speak more casually. Instead, all she could hear was a small shrilled voice. Like a wave, some memories of a hungry little boy swept over her and flooded her heart. Man Se, bread loving cute Manse, she could feel her eyes got misty and wet while Kwon Yul took a longer gaze at her and sighed heavily before answering her.
“ Man Se is taller and more plump. He really took his grandfather’s advice to his heart, “ he paused a while and continued to speak, “ still he is missing his Ahjumma very much that often he forced me to go out in the cold looking for her.” Nam Da Jung thought something had stuck to her throat, she coughed a little to cover her thumping vein.
“ Allright, Mr. Kwon Yul. We are straight to the last  question. When was the hardest time of your life?.”
“You really want to know, Da Jung ssi? I don’t think you need the answer,” Kwon Yul replied softly. His eyes were staring at the sunset dreamily. It was becoming very quiet at the garden. Only the swishing of gentle wind caressed those last blooms of autumn roses on the flower beds. Kwon Yul was the first to break the silence with his deep yet painful voice.
“ The hardest time for me was when I had to let you leave. I had promised your father to never let your hands go and I just couldn’t keep my own words. If he had  lived back then, I believe he would have beat me in pulp for hurting his precious daughter. I never could forgive myself for all those tears you shed  while you were with me, Nam Da Jung ssi.”
That was a final straw for Nam Da Jung. River of tears started to fall on her cheeks, she was sobbing and closed her face with her two hands. “Please, stop that, Kwon Yul nim, you know that I really had to leave...”
Slowly Kwon Yul rose from his seat and came over to Nam Da Jung. Tenderly he held Da Jung’s face and wiped her wet face carefully. “Shhhh... Da Jung ssi... I recall what you said once, it is nobody’s fault, not yours or mine. Everything will be allright now. You are here with me and we can start again properly.”
Nam Da Jung put her head on his shoulder. In an instant, she  felt warmth radiating her heart. Peace and happiness filled  a portion of her inner emptiness , giving her a sense of coming home again.
Eventually she realized that she couldnot get away anymore. This man holding her firmly was her sources of heaven, her love, her Kwon Yul. Like seeing a new found life she smiled and hugged him back. This was where she belonged.
That was the time when Chief Kang returned to the garden. He stood by the gate, watching two of his dearest ones held each other in loving embrace. He grinned and turned away from that place. Then he took out his beeping smartphone. He saw on the blue screen, a very familiar name, “Chief Seo...”
